The Schwechat International Airport or the Vienna - Schwechat International Airport (Flughafen Wien or Flughafen Wien-Schwechat in German) is located a few kilometres away from Vienna, near the city of Schwechat. The airport has three terminals, and it is one of the busiest European airports.

From the centre of Bratislava to the Vienna-Schwechat Airport it takes about 50 minutes by car, it is 65 kilometres on the A6 (Nord-Ostautobahn) and A4 (Ost-Autobahn) motorways. When travelling, allow for the reserve of time of half an hour due to frequent traffic jams. You can also book a taxi service specializing in the transport of passengers to the Schwechat Airport or from the airport back to Slovakia, co-called airport taxi.
